Mrs. Nell Ellis Dies Aug. 22 in Wash.

Mrs. Nell May Ellis, 79, died Tuesday, Aug. 22, at Tri-State Memorial Hospital in Clarkston, Wash.

Mrs. Ellis was born May 29, 1893, in Hardin County, Ill., the daughter of William and Mary Cox. She is survived by her husband, Fred D. Ellis of the home; a son, Irvin Ellis of Clarkston; a son from a previous marriage, W. F. Porter, Hannibal, Mo.; a daughter Mrs. Jean Parks, Davenport, Iowa; two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Foster and Mrs. Susie Agee, both of Alton, Ill.; and several grandchildren.

Funeral service and burial were Friday, Aug. 25 at Clarkston.

Mr. and Mrs. Ellis are former Sioux County residents. They lived in the Pleasant Ridge and Highland communities prior to moving to Washington in 1942.
