Genevieve D. Earle

Graveside services for Genevieve D. Earle, 86, of Guernsey, were conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16, 1992, at Highland Cemetery by Rev. Charles Blackwell of St. Stephens Episcopal Church.

Earle died Oct. 13, 1992, at Wheatland following a short illness. She was born June 21, 1906, at Locke, N.Y., the daughter of Hiram E. and Alice (Edwards) Streeter. In 1918, the family moved to Lusk and she graduated from Lusk High School in 1925.

In 1928, she married Dr. G. W. Earle at Berthoud, Colo.

The couple moved to Casper in 1933 and she worked as a secretary for the late Tom Fagan Sr. She was employed as a bookkeeper for Harris Furniture and Johnson Brothers, retiring from the House of Stewart in 1970. She was a member of Rebekah Lodge No. 13 in Casper.

Survivors include a daughter, Toni E. Briner of Guernsey; her son, George W. Earle III of New York City, N.Y.; three grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Burial will be at Highland Cemetery.

Either flowers or memorials to the Guernsey Rescue Unit would be equally appreciated by the family. Donations may be left at the Bustard Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.
