Funeral services for Cora Elizabeth Dieleman, 87 were held Tuesday, April 18 at the Converse Funeral Chapel in Douglas, Wyo., with Pastor Tim Tyler of Douglas Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be at Douglas Park Cemetery.

Cora Dieleman, a lifelong resident of Converse County, died Thursday, April 13 at Memorial Hospital of Converse County in Douglas.

She was born December 16, 1912 at Lost Springs, Wyo., the daughter of Charles and Belle (Howard) Bright. She was reared and educated in Lost Springs. She was married to Daniel Wayne Dieleman on June 10, 1929 in Douglas. They homesteaded eight miles southeast of Lost Springs, then moved back to the Bright Ranch near Lost Springs where they ranched until retirement. They retired in 1979 and moved to Douglas. They spent several winters in Florida. She enjoyed her family and home, canning, sewing, piano playing, crocheting, knitting and gardening.

Cora is survived by two daughters: Vivian Fern Ladwig and husband Harold of Douglas and Betty Belle Krivanec and husband Clyde of Upton, Wyo.; six grandchildren: Larry Ladwig of Phoenix, Ariz.; Stan Ladwig and wife Becky of Denver, Colo.; Phillip Ladwig and wife, Deana of Denver; Clyde Wayne Krivanec and wife Marie of Upton; Jeffrey Krivanec and wife Valarie of Mesa, Ariz., and Connie Bolinger and husband James of Douglas; eight great-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1990; her parents, two brothers and one sister.

Serving as pallbearers were Jim Bolinger, Jim Sullivan, Clyde Wayne Krivanec, Philip Ladwig, Larry Ladwig, and Cliff Corless.

Honorary pallbearers were Stanley Ladwig, Jim Smith Wilbur Wright, Elbert McGehee, Don Kipp and Jeff Krivanec.

Memorials to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.

Converse Funeral Chapel of Douglas was in charge of the arrangements.
