Quilt Squares - Tri-State Milling Company

Tri-State Milling Company was was recreated as a quilt square by The Bag Ladies for their Historic Quilt in 2001.
The Tri-State Milling Company was established in the 1920's and enlarged in 1952. Hubbard then bought the business from Tri-State. In 1964 Harry Brown purchased the company and in 1971 added a pellet mill. Mr. Brown sold the business to the Chicago Norhtwestern Railroad in 1984. The elevator is now leased by Hubbard from the railroad.
