Ernest H. Lamb Dies in Ft. Collins, Thursday
Word was received last Thursday by Mrs. Charles Lee and Mr. Vernon Lamb of the death of their brother, Ernest H. Lamb of Ft. Collins, Colo. Mrs. Lee and Mrs. Lamb left immediately for Ft. Collins where they remained until after the funeral services which were held at 10:30 Saturday morning. After the services, the immediate family accompanied the body to Shenandoah, Iowa, where the last rites and burial was made. Those who made the trip to Iowa were the mother, Mrs. Docia Lamb of Fort Collins, Mr. and Mrs. Byron Lamb and family of Texas, a brother, Mr. Ivan Lamb from Phillips, Wis., a brother, and Mrs. Charles Lee and Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Lamb of Lance Creek, brother and sister.
Ernest Lamb was born in Shenandoah, Iowa in 1908 but spent much of his life in Colorado and Wyoming. He had been a resident of this vicinity up until four years ago and had many friends in the community. Besides his mother, his two sisters, three brothers and many nieces and nephews to mourn his passing he leaves a host of friends.
