Mrs. Barbee's Sister Dies in Neb. August 2
Mrs. Hubertina Niebur, 61, of Norfolk, Nebr., sister of Mrs. Elinor Barbee, died Aug. 2 following a stroke. Funeral services were held Aug. 6 at 10:30 a.m. from Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Norfolk.
Survivors include her husband, seven children, one sister, Mrs. Elinor Barbee of Lusk and five brothers, Matt Smith, Cedar Rapids, Nebr., Jack Smith, Oakdale, Nebr., Fred, Frank and Bill Smith all of Omaha.
Mrs. Barbee, who was vacationing in the Black Hills at the time of her sister's death left immediately for Norfolk, upon receiving word. She returned to Lusk Thursday.

Mrs. Albert J. Niebur
Funeral rites for Mrs. Albert J. Niebur, 1224 Pasewalk Ave., who died Thursday, were conducted Monday morning in Sacred Heart Church by the Rev. Thomas DeBacker, assistant pastor.
Burial was in Prospect Hill Cemetery. The following nephews served as pallbearers: Ervin Niebur, Kenneth, Francis, Donald and Thomas Smith and Albin Dohman.
Hubertina Smith, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter S. Smith, was born June 28, 1895, at Lindsay, where she grew to womanhood. She attended school at St. Bernard, and was married Sept. 9, 1919, to Herman Becker. Eight sons and daughters were born to them, Marcella, Jerome, Leonard, Genevieve, Genrose, Henrietta, James and Irene.
Mr. Becker died Feb. 1, 1937, and on Sept. 25, 1951, Mrs. Becker was married to Mr. Niebur.
Mrs. Niebur is survived by her husband; four daughters, Mrs. Voyle Hodge and Mrs. Daniel Dotson, both of Norfolk; Mrs. Alonzo Rood, Compton, Calif., and Mrs. Leon Rutzins (note: should be Rutjens), Tilden; three sons, Jerome and James Becker, Omaha, and Leonard Becker, Norfolk; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Paul Weishapl and Mrs. Rex Gott, both of Oelwein, Iowa; two stepsons, James Niebur, Omaha, and Paul Niebur, Eagle Grove, Iowa; 19 grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Elinor Barbee, Lusk, Wyo.; five brothers, Matt Smith, Cedar Rapids; Jack Smith, Oakdale; Fred and Frank Smith, Omaha, and William Smith, Red Oak, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, one daughter, Marcella, July 3, 1920; her parents, four sisters, Mary, Anne, Rose and Egina, and three brothers, Henry, Joe and Leonard Smith.
All of her sons and daughters, brothers and sisters were here for the funeral, as well as many other relatives and friends.
