Josephine Julia Ransbottom

Services for Josephine J. Ransbottom were held February 5, 1988 at the Peet Mortuary Chapel. Rev. Scott Grimshaw officiated. Burial was in the Lusk Cemetery.

Mrs. Ransbottom, 76, died February 3, 1988 at the Niobrara County Memorial Hospital. She was born July 5, 1911, at Fredonia, Kansas, the daughter of Lawrence and Gertrude Smmith. She attended school in Independence, KS.

On April 5, 1933 she married Arthur J. Ransbottom at Independence, where they lived until 1942 when they moved to Parsons, KS. In 1955 they moved to Monticello, UT and in 1960 they moved to Riverton, WY. In 1975 they moved to Lusk.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Art of Lusk; one daughter, Rosie Pauley of Grove, OK; one granddaughter, Karla Pauley of Kansas City, MO and many other relatives and friends.

For those who wish, memorials to the American Heart Association will be appreciated by the family.

Peet Mortuary was in charge of the arrangements.
