John Mills, Pioneer of Lost Springs, Dies in Denver
John Mills, 85 years old, pioneer resident of Lost Springs, died at St. Joseph's Hospital in Denver last Tuesday, and funeral services were held last Friday afternoon, interment being made in the Douglas cemetery.
Mr. Mills was an old-timer of the Lost Springs community. At the time of his death he was in business there and was
acting as liquidating agent for the former Citizens State Bank. He was an Odd Fellow, and the Order was in charge of services at the grave.
County Treasurer D. A. Shoopman and C. W. Spacht, both old-time friends of Mr. Mills, attended the funeral.
