Former Lance Creek Man Dies In Montana

Ira Rexford Maxwell, 41, of Bearcreek, Montana, and a former resident of Lance Creek, died in Red Lodge, Montana, January 29, as the result of a kidney ailment.

Funeral services were held in Billings, Montana, at Smith's Chapel, and interment was made in the Mountview Cemetery at Billings January 31. Masonic rites were held for Mr. Maxwell, as he was a member of Harmony Masonic Lodge of Lusk.

Mr. Maxwell is survived by his widow; a daughter, Rexann; a son, Curtiss Lee; his mother, Mrs. Otha Maxwell of Bearcreek, Montana; three brothers, John H. Maxwell, Charles Maxwell, and Richard Maxwell; and two sisters, Mrs. Frank Deville and Miss Ruth Maxwell.
