Memorial services for former Wyoming resident Karvin R. Kilmer, 63, of Denver, were conducted May 31, 2001, in Horan and McConaty Family Chapel in Lakewood.

He died May 27, 2001 in Denver. He was born Nov. 23, 1937, in Lusk to Venus and Ruth Kilmer. He graduated from the University of Wyoming with a business degree and was a National Guard officer.

On January 4, 1959 he married Renee Woods in Laramie. He was an insurance broker.

His interests included hunting, fishing and golfing. He was a member of Pinehurst County Club.

Survivors include his wife, two sons, Kary Kilmer of Lanesboro, Minn., and Kendall Kilmer of Arvada, Colo., a brother Rick Kilmer of Douglas, and his mother, Ruth of Lusk.

Memorials may be made to Horan and McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 S. Wadsworth Boulevard, Lakewood, CO 80227.
