Clem Burge

Clem Burge, former Lusk business man, died in Loveland, Colo., March 27. The funeral service was conducted last Thursday.

The Burge family left Lusk in 1957 moving to Loveland where they have owned and managed Burge Realty for the past 21 years.

Clem L. Burge was born August 14, 1906, in Ainsworth Neb., to William F. and Mary L. Pratt Burge. He and Alice Wallingford were married in Martin, S.D.

Mr. Burge was a member of the Loveland Masonic Lodge; Orient Chapter No. 23 OES; the Sandhills Cattle Association and the Loveland Board of Realtors. In addition to the realty business he ranched in Nenzel, Neb., where his son currently manages the ranch.

The Rev. Glen Brown officiated at the funeral service last Thursday at Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Chapel. Burial was in Loveland Burial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Loveland Masonic Lodge No. 53 AF and AM Memorial Fund or to the Church of the Good Shepherd.

Mr. Burge is survived by his wife Alice of 1205 W. Sixth St., Loveland; a son, Richard Clem Burge of Nenzel, Neb.; a daughter, Judy Kay Grommon of Loveland; a grandson Philo Daniel Grommon V and a granddaughter Candace Kay Grommon; a brother, William R. Burge of Roseburg, Ore.; four sisters, Mrs. Jim (Doris) Harlow of Loveland, Goldie Conn, Edna Hong and Mrs. Dean (Bernice) Parr all of Sutherlin, Ore.
