Alice Fern Burge

Alice Fern Burge of Loveland, Colo., died Dec. 31, 1985, in McKee Medical Center. She was 70.

She was born Jan. 27, 1915, in Cody, Neb., to Horace G. and Rosetta "Etta" Hoffman Wallingford. She married Clem L. Burge May 27, 1935, in Martin, S.D. He died March 27, 1983. She was a homemaker and became a licensed Realtor in 1958. She and her husband owned and operated the Burge Realty in Loveland. She retired in 1984.

She was a member of Orient Chapter No. 23 O.E.S., former member of the Loveland Board of Realtors, and attended the Church of the Good Shepherd. She came to Loveland in 1957 from Lusk.

She is survived by a son, Richard D. "Dick" Burge, Cheyenne, a daughter, Judy D. Grommon, Loveland; sisters, Edna Kirk, Martin, S.D. and Modena Knuselman, Fort Collins; grandchildren Philo D. Grommon V, and Canndance K. Grommon.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers.

Services were held Monday, at Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Glenn Brown officiating.

Burial was in Loveland Burial Park.

Memorial contributions may be made to the McKee Medical Center or Orient Chapter No. 23 O.E.S.

Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
