Dorothy E. Cole

Funeral services for Dorothy E. Cole, 62, will be held Wednesday, January 6 at Worden Chapel with Ron Sample officiating. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery.

She died December 31, 1998 at Rapid City Regional Hospital following a lengthy illness.

She was born February 24, 1936, the daughter of Edwin Chapin and Jewell Shelby (Clark) Cole, in Estes Park, Colo.

She was married to Harold McCollom on March 5, 1951.

Survivors include two daughters. Cynthia Crabtree and Barbara Sutherland, both of Osage; one son, William McCollom of Delray Beach, Fla.; four sisters, Lou Ann Predmore of Newcastle, Eunice June Schmidt of Keystone, S. Dak., Maxine Eutsler of Osage, and Mary Bowman of Lusk; four brothers Ed Cole, Jr. of Arkansas, Peter Cole of Bozeman, Mont., and William and Robert Cole both of Lusk; and 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband.
