Services for Wylie L. Blevins, 70, of Casper were at 10 a.m. Saturday at Memorial Chapel with Rev. David B. Hammar of Bethel Baptist Church officiating.

Blevins died Jan. 13, 1987 at Wyoming Medical Center following a long illness.

Born April 19, 1916 in Holt County, Mo., he was the son of Wylie Lee and Bonnie (Sinclair) Blevins. He moved to Wyoming from Missouri when he was a teenager.

On May 3, 1940, he married Audrey E. Lee in Harrison, Neb.

Blevins was a welder and machinist for White Trucking Co.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Wylie Lee Blevins in 1941, and two brothers, George and Richard.

Survivors include his widow of Casper, three children, Terry Blevins of Casper, Virginia Hoffman of Las Vegas, Nev., and Diane Wedgwood of The Dalles, Ore.; one brother, Robert Blevins of Wheatland; one sister Virginia Marr of Los Alamos, N.M.; six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Central Wyoming Cancer Treatment Center and Hospice Program would be appreciated by the family.
