June E. (Varney) Crabill (May 12, 1921 - March 9, 1984)

Chelan - June E. Crabill, 62, died Friday morning in University Hospital in Seattle.

She was born June Varney on May 12, 1921, at Lakeside and spent her early years there. Later she moved to Seattle where she attended and graduated from Holy Names Academy. In 1947. she moved to Merylhurst, Ore., where she made her home until 1951 when she moved to Spokane.

On Sept. 4, 1953, she married Paul W. Crabill in Spokane. They made their home at Spokane until 1969 when they moved to Chelan and started Lake city Auto Supply.

Mrs. Crabill was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church and the Chelan Eagles Auxiliary.

Survivors include her husband, Paul, at home; a son, Mark of Chelan; a daughter, Melissa Hankins, of Chelan; a sister, Doris Wiker of Spokane; a brother, Herb Varney of Yuma, Ariz.; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

Precht Rose Chapel, Chelan, is in charge of arrangements.
