Mrs. Anna Bridge Dies in Manville
Well-Known Old-Time Resident of Manville Dies After Long Illness
Mrs. Anna Bridge, affectionately known to a wide circle of friends as "Grandma" Bridge, died Monday at her home in Manville, after a long illness. She was 78 years old at the time of her death.
Funeral services will be held in Manville Friday, February 1, at 2:30 p.m., from the Methodist Church there, with Rev. Sears officiating. The Midwest Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements. Pallbearers, according to present information, will be Fred Kettler, Frank Cogdill, Frank Blankenship, Clarence Patten, Bud Cantwell and Harry Newton.
Mrs. Bridge is survived by four sons and two daughters. She had lived on her ranch, about 25 miles north of Manville, for about 25 years. She moved into Manville about twelve years ago. A complete obituary will be published next week, if obtainable.
Although the previous Monday in 1935 is the 28th, the 30th has been used as the death date, as printed on the headstone.
