Fern Myra (Lenz) Taylor

Fern Myra (Lenz) Taylor, 83, of Aztec, New Mexico died on Monday, May 30, 2011, in Farmington. She was born Aug. 29, 1927, in Lusk, Wyo. to Henry and Carrie (Thurston) Lenz.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Carrie Lenz; sons-in-law, Curtis Tinker and Todd N. Offerle; half brother, Ralph Lingwood; half sister, Alma (Lingwood) Bostrom; Brother-in-law, Oscar Bostrom; brother, Richard Lenz; and sister-in-law, Jennie Lenz.

Fern is survived by her husband, Don F. Taylor; sons, Dennis (Cindy) Taylor, William (Debbie) Taylor, Rodney (Michelle) Taylor, and Bruce (Lorie) Taylor, all of Aztec, NM; daughters, Linda (Steve) Smouse, of Blanco, NM, Gloria (Phill) Offerle of Farmington, NM, Barbra (Richard) Watson of Aztec, Sandra (Dan) Driscoll of Denver, Colorado, Rita (Todd) Offerle of Bloomfeild, NM; brothers Hugo (Martha) Lenz of Wheatland, Wyoming and Gene (Joan) Lenz of Lusk, Wyoming; 60 grandchildren and 45 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., June 2, at the Zion Lutheran Church in Farmington, with rev. Gary Thur officiating.
