Alex Larson, Brother Of Local Men, Dies
Alex Larson, 58, of Grand Island, Nebr., died of a heart attack at his home on April 20, 1950. He is a brother of A.E. Larson of Lusk and also of Fred G. Larson of Omaha and Roy Larson of Pomona, Calif., both former residents of Lusk.
His mother is Mrs. Ida Larson of Harrison, Nebr., and he spent his boyhood in that town and is a graduate of the Harrison high school.
Mr. Larson was the office manager of the city light and water departmeot of Grand Island at the time of his death and has been with the city utilities for the past 28 years.
He was a member of the Methodist church and of Ashlar Lodge No. 33 A., F., & A.M., and Deuel Chapter No. 11 Royal Arch Masons.
Funeral services were held at Grand Island on April 25 from the Methodist church. Burial was made in the Grand Island cemetary with the Masonic Services by Ashlar Lodge.
Besides his mother and three brothers mentioned above, he is survived by his wife, Olive and a daughter Jane Elizabeth both of Grand Island, two other brothers, L.C. Larson of Chadron, Neb. and Ralph of Harrison and a sister, Mrs. Ellen Christian of Crawford, Nebr.
