Brother of Mrs. Lafe Culver Dies in Kansas

Evan William Ferrell, 58, brother of Mrs. Lafe Culver, Sr., died Saturday at Dearing, Kan. He had been ill a number of years. Surviving besides his wife are eight daughters. Mrs. Culver had not seen him in a number of years.

Besides Mrs. Culver a brother, Mark lives at Coffeeville, Kan., and there are three other sisters living, Mrs. Ralph Bryner, Tulsa, Okla.; Mrs. Larry Hodges, Tyro, Kan.; and Mrs. Alice Nesthus, Casper, who has also lived in Lusk in recent years.

The Ferrell family immigrated from Kansas to the Lander valley about the turn of the century, returning to Kansas In 1915.

Note: Although the Saturday before March 6 would have been March 1, Family Search lists his death as March 3, 1952.
