Mary Vaughan Dies Monday in Washington
Mrs. Forest (Mary) Vaughan, 67, died Monday at Centralia Wash. She is the daughter-in-law of Mrs. Adda Vaughan and sister-in-law of Chuck and Joe Vaughan of Lusk.
Funeral service arrangements were still pending at the Herald press time.
Mrs. Vaughan taught school in the Prairie Center and Lance Creek schools leaving this area in 1945. She has lived in Centralia since then.

Funeral for Mary Blair In Wash.
Mary Blair Vaughan, 63, died at a nursing home in Centralia, Wash., where she has been confined for three years following a stroke. Funeral service was held in Centralia December 15.
She was born at Welch, Indian Territory, now Oklahoma, February 17, 1909. She was the daughter of Arthur L. and Martha A. Blair and came to Lusk with her parents as an infant, spending most of her life in Lusk and Torrington areas. She attended school in Lusk and graduated from High School in Torrington. She attended the University of Wyoming and later taught school in Goshen and Niobrara counties.
She married Forest Vaughan and lived in Lance Creek until they moved to Centralia, Wash., where she resided until her death. He husband resides at the Lewis and Clark Hotel in Centralia.
In addition to her husband she is survived by three brothers, Cyrus of Wilcox, Ariz., Harry of Kennewich, Wash., Fred of Whites Creek, Tenn.; and three sisters, Florence Harris of Jay Em, Artie Crane of Balboa Panama Canal, and Ruth Johnson of Panorama City, Lacy, Wash. One brother, Percy, and two sisters, Merta Hubbard and Isabelle Blair died previously.
