Former resident Dies In Gillette Friday

Dellois (Dell) Glen Sherman, 59, of Rozet, Wyo., formerly of Lusk died Friday at the Campbell County Memorial Hospital in Gillette from an extended illness. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. from the First Baptist Church of Gillette with the Rev. Leon C. Nelson officiating. Burial was in the Mount Pisgah Cemetery.

He was born January 17, 1911, at Merriman, Neb. where he attended school. Following his education, he was involved in ranching in the Lusk area. For the past 20 years he worked in construction and the trucking business in South Dakota and Wyoming. He was employed by Coltrane Well Service of Rozet.

Survivors include his widow Dorothy, two sons, Joey and Dale; three daughters, Mrs. Bob Gelok of Gillette, Mrs. John Miller of Hat Creek and Mrs. Robert Timmons of Billings, Mont.; one brother, Harold of Valentine, Neb.; two sisters, Mrs. Melvin Hutchinson of Valentine and Mrs. Reva Anderson of Colorado.
