Mark Richard Marsteller
Mark Richard Marsteller, son of Florence Hall Marsteller and the late John C. Marsteller, was born June 16, 1966, in Chadron, Nebr. and passed away September 28, 1970, in Children's Hospital, Denver, Colo.
He was baptized along with his twin brother Michael in the Memorial Methodist Church at Harrison, Neb., November 20, 1966, by Reverend James D. Keith.
Mark enjoyed attending Sunday School and was present the Sunday preceding his death. He was a happy child who brought much joy and happiness to his family.
He leaves to mourn his passing, his mother Florence, brothers, John Scott and Robert Lee and his twin Michael Richard; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Marsteller and Mrs. Ruth Hall all of Harrison; uncles Richard Marsteller of Harrison, and Richard Hall of West Fargo, N.D.; four cousins and many relatives and loving friends.
He was preceded in death by his father John C. Marsteller and grandfather, Floyd Hall.
Funeral services were conducted October 1 with the Reverend J. Lee Gorman officiating. Wesley Choir members furnished a special music number, "Jesus Wants Me For A Sunbeam," Mrs. Kenneth Watson, director. Escorts were Herb Hanson, Charles Mumby, Bill Didier, and Norman Wickersham. Interment was in the Harrison Cemetery.
Sunday morning at the Methodist worship service the poem, "A Child to Loan" was read in memory of Mark.
