Carl Lenz Dies In Torrington

Carl E. Lenz, 70, of Jay Em died April 17 at the Goshen Memorial Hospital in Torrington. Services were held last Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at the Coyler Funeral Home in Torrington with Pastor Thomas Jacobsen of English Lutheran Church officiating. Also services were held last Thursday afternoon at 1:30 at Meadow Groves, Nebr., with burial in the Lutheran Cemetery.

He was a brother of Henry Lenz of Lusk.

Mr. Lenz was born May 5, 1896 at Meadow Grove, Nebr., and had resided there until six years ago when he moved to Jay Em. He was a farmer and construction worker.

Survivors include his widow, Dora; one son, Loren Richardson of Texas; two daughters, Mrs. Vera Smith of Meadow Grove and Mrs. Donna Praeuner of Deadwood, S. Dak.; two sisters, Mrs. Hermine Cornett of Torrington and Miss Martha Lenz of Jay Em, one brother, Henry of Lusk, and 12 grandchildren.
