Last Rites Held for Donald Grimm

Last rites for Donald Fay Grimm were conducted by the Rev. J. Lee Gorman of the Harrison Methodist Church at the Crawford Methodist Church on November 19 at 2:p.m. Burial was in the Crawford Cemetery.

Donald, son of Frank and Bernice Grimm, was born 12 miles east of Harrison on February 6, 1937, and died November 9, 1968 at the age of 31. His death was caused by a self-inflicted wound that occurred at Whitney November 16. His early life was spent in the Harrison community where he attended grade and high school.

He enlisted in the Air Force on March 11, 1956 and was honorably discharged March 11, 1960. While in service he received a Good Conduct Medal and was nominated for Wing Airman of the month. For the past two years he has been working as a mechanic in Harrison. He was a volunteer fireman at Harrison.

On April 3, 1961, he married Beulah Barker at Rapid City, S. Dak. Two sons were born.

Surviving are his parents, Frank and Bernice Grimm; his two sons, Curtis Don and Clayton Frank; four sisters, Mrs. Gladys DeBock of Torrington, Wyo., Mrs. Lawrence Lewis of Harrison, Mrs. Thorton Plum of Herlong, Calif., and Mrs. Norman O'Dell of Alliance; one brother, Frank Junior Grimm of Crawford.
