With only one intermission the Strand theatre are now showing pictures at the new Temporary Strand Building just east of the old Congregational Church. The new building which was rushed to completion in a few days has a seating capacity of 350 people and an excellent ventilation system. On account of the delay in the shipment of chairs temporary benches have been installed and will be used until the arrival of the new opera chairs
