Spencer Hospital Making Repairs
The basement of the Spencer Hospital has been undergoing extensive repairs and remodeling the past few weeks.
An old wooden floor has been replaced with a cement floor, which is built up to the baseboard. Power wiring has been installed, thus making the basement practically fireproof.
The kitchen, dining room and nurses quarters have been redecorated. The laundry has also been painted and latest laundry equipment, including a centrifugal dryer has been installed.

Know this little fellow? Donnie Zerbst isn't in high school yet, but he will be, and in good shape, too, as long as he gets regular medical and hospital attention when needed.
The SPENCER HOSPITAL is a place of mercy. While no one relishes the thought of needing its services, how good it is to know that there are nurses, nurses-aids (like Louise Fernau), spotless surgeries, well-equipped X-ray rooms and soft beds when they are needed. "Doc" Walter E. Reckling, M. D. is the owner.
