A dream has come true for one Lusk couple, Mark and Lori Barcus, owners of Cow Camp Saddlery, had their grand opening on Dec. 19, 2015. The joint venture has had a steady stream of new and returning customers strolling through their doors for the last few weeks.
Barcus was born in Fairplay, CO., before relocating to Wyo.. to spend his childhood. All Barcus ever wanted to be, growing up, was a cowboy. "When I was in Cheyenne, I always wanted to have my own own tack, but I just couldn't afford it, so I started building it myself. I remember braiding keychains and selling them in school for lunch money," he says. Barcus started in 4_H, at age seven with his father by his side lending a hand, and that's where his love of working with leather began.
