Lessons in Craftsmanship
Harry Adams, who established the business in Lusk in the fall of 1992, began leather tooling as a hobby before he was in high school. In 1973, he attended a saddle making school in White Wood S.D., under the tutelage of Jim Gill, where he studied for eighteen months. Over 100 students have studied the craftsmanship of saddle making under his guidance over the past twenty years, nine of them in Lusk. The tenth student now studying in the shop is Pee Wee Johnson.
