Thomas Lee Wasserburger

Mr. and Mrs. Henry L. Wasserburger, Jr. have more than just the normal reason to be proud of their youngest son. Thomas Lee Wasserburger was born just before 5:00 p.m. Saturday in Wasserburger's car while it was parked beside Highway 85 about 16 miles north of Lusk. Mr. Wasserburger ranches with his father 33 miles north of Lusk. His troubles weren't over after his son was born. Because the engine was kept running during the delivery to keep the car warm a considerable amount of gasoline was burned, and the car ran out of fuel when still three miles out of Lusk. Mr. Wasserburger ran to the Berggren ranch and phoned Dr. E L. Lindahl. Dr. Lindahl left a wedding in his home to go to the scene immediately.
