Summer Reading: Dig Into Reading

The Summer Reading program for 2013 will be adopting the theme “Dig Into Reading”. This Activity hour will be held each Wednesday from June 5 through July 10, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Children that have completed the first through the fifth grades are eligible to participate. Space is limited and participants will be registered on a first-come basis.

Summer reading is held each year to encourage children to continue to develop reading skills they have learned throughout the school year. Children will again be encouraged to choose a goal of how many books they would like to read in a week’s time. We will read stories and do crafts each Wednesday that we meet.
