Lusk, WY – The Niobrara County Library Foundation, Inc. has been awarded a grant of $4000 from the McMurry Library Endowment Fund of the Wyoming Community Foundation.
According to Debbie Sturman, director of the Niobrara County Library the grant will be used to purchase media materials as well as the appropriate circulation cases. “We are very pleased to receive these funds to provide this opportunity to residents of Niobrara County. These types of materials are not a part of our operating budget and make their way to the library shelves via grant funding and donations, the grant from the Wyoming Community Foundation will give us additional resources to provide current and popular titles.”
The Niobrara County Library Foundation, Inc. was founded in 1986 and has supported the Niobrara County Library in a number of ways since then. The Foundation is also a partner with the “Partnership to Raise Community Capital” which is a matching challenge grant with the Kresge Foundation and the Wyoming Community Foundation.
