The Friends of the Library will be holding a “Homemade Soup and Bread” bake sale on Tuesday, November 21 at Deckers at 3 p.m. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Reading is Fundamental (RIF) programs in February, March and April, 2007.

New books for the young adult include “How to Be Popular” by Meg Cabot, “The Taker” byJ. M. Steele and “Demon Thief” by Darren Shan.
Junior readers will enjoy “Horowitz Horror” by Anthony Horowitz, “Odd Man Out” by Sarah Ellis and “Framed” by Frank Cottrell Boyce.
Our youngest readers will be sure to like “Grateful: A Song of Giving Thanks” by John Bucchino, “Happy Birthday, Dear Duck” by Eve Bunking and “What’s Bigger than Me?” by Julie Aigner-Clark.
“Giving Thanks” is the theme for Storyhour on Tuesday, November 21. Storyhour is held every Tuesday from 10 to 11 p.m. for children ages 3 through kindergarten.
