The library will be closed on Monday, January 15, 2006 for Martin Luther King and Wyoming Equality Day Observance. Normal hours resume at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, January 16th.
The February and March Afterschool Programs are currently being planned. Yvonne has many fun books and activities in store, so be sure to watch for registration information the end of this month.
“Snapshots of Society” will begin this month. This is a six-part film discussion program similar to the “Faces of Family” program held last fall. The first film, “Immediate Family” will be shown with a light meal on January 31 at 6 p.m. Plan now to participate, discussion will be joined by participants at Wyoming Women’s Center.
IRS forms are available at the library. Forms are arriving on a regular basis and are available at no charge, except for forms that require copying. The Internal Revenue Service website also has forms to download, http://www.irs.gov, as well as other information.
Thank you to everyone who is bringing in their Decker Receipts. Funds that are raised through this program go towards purchasing children’s and young adult books. Receipts are collected through the end of May, 2007. Thank you also to Kenny Decker and Decker’s Food Center for sponsoring this program.

Junior readers will enjoy “The Case of the Psychic Hamster” by P. J. McMahon, “The Case of the Tender Cheeping Chicks” by John R. Erickson as well as “Runaway” by Wendelin VanDraanen.
Our youngest readers will be sure to like “Sheetzucacapoopoo: My Kind of Dog” by Joy Behar, “The Lost Ears” by Phillida Gili and “The Crooked Little House” by Margaret Wild.
“Gingerbread!” is the theme for Storyhour on Tuesday, January 16. Storyhour is held every Tuesday from 10 to 11 p.m. for children ages 3 through kindergarten.
