The first of three “Paint @ the Library” events will be held on Wednesday, February 7 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Call the library at 307-334-3490 to register as space is limited. Children under the age of 10 should be accompanied by an adult.

The first film in the dinner & movie series, “Living Wild” kicks off with “The Call of the Wild” on Monday, January 29 at 6 p.m. A meal, as well as brief audience discussion round out the evening. Library programs are free and open to the public.

Johnstone, “Born to Hang” by Terrence McCauley and “Cade’s Redemption” by Robert Vaughan. A new young adult book is “Chasing the Spotlight” by Sarah Ann Sumpolec.

The “Wyoming Cowboy Hall of Fame, 10th Annual Induction” by Wyoming Cowboy Hall of Fame is among new non-fiction titles along with “The Lost Tomb and Other Real-Life Stories of Bones, Burials, and Murder” by Douglas Preston and “Heaven’s Light Breaking” by Greg Laurie.

The Lenna Lewis Slagle Children’s Library has these new chapter books “Danger Down the Nile” by James Patterson, “The 156-Story Treehouse” by Andy Griffiths and “Young Whit and the Phantasmic Confabulator” by Dave Arnold. A few of the newer picture books are “Lila Greer, Teacher of the Year” by Andrea Beaty, “Bees are our Friends” by Toni D’Alia, “The Test of Lionhood” by Kevin Sorbo and “Chomp, Chomp, Chomp: Snapfast Challenge” by J.P. Sears.

“I Hear You….!” is the theme for Storyhour on January 23, 2024. Storyhour is held from 10 to 11 a.m. every Tuesday throughout the year for preschool aged children. Call 307-334-3274 anytime to hear a recorded story! Dial-A-Story is sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
