Dr. Hoffman earned his Master of Music degree in organ performance under Dr. Larry Schou at the University of South Dakota 1997. In 2000, he earned the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in organ performance and sacred music under Dr. Marilyn Mason at the University of Michigan. In the fall of 2000, Dr. Hoffman returned to Laramie to teach organ at the University of Wyoming, and to serve as Kantor at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church and Campus Center in Laramie, and at King of Glory Lutheran Church in Cheyenne. Dr. Hoffman maintains an active recital and organ conference schedule throughout Wyoming, the panhandle of Nebraska, and northern Colorado.
Dave Shaul has been principal harpist with symphony orchestras in Arizona and California. A virtuoso performer on both folk and pedal harp, Dave not only performs but presents workshops and lectures on World harps, pan-Celtic, and Renaissance/Baroque harp music. Shaul’s harp styles range from Latin to European to Asian.
