Be sure to stop by the library this month and check out the Art Show featuring several artists that attended a four-class series with Barb Orr. A reception will be held on Thursday, March 20 at 5 p.m.

The library is pleased to present countertenor Andrew Egbucheim in concert on Thursday, March 20 at 6:30 p.m. at the Congregational Church, 102 E. 5th Street, Lusk, WY. As always, library programs are free and open to the public.

Pajama Storyhour will be held on Wednesday, March 26 at 5:30 p.m. with all things Dr. Seuss! A guest reader will be on hand and children will enjoy stories, activities and more! Plan to bring your preschool-aged children!

The third film in the “Hotels Around the World” Dinner and Movie series will be shown on Monday, March 31 at 6 p.m. “The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel” follows the experiences of a group of elderly Brits who arrive to take up residence in a newly-opened retirement home in Bangalore, India. Despite its glossy publicity campaign, the Marigold turns out to be rather different from the refurbished luxury hotel advertised in the brochures. However, it soon begins to reveal some unexpected charms of its own. A light meal will accompany this comedy drama.

“We All Live Here” is the newest novel by JoJo Moyes. Lila Kennedy has a lot on her plate. She wrote a bestselling book about keeping your marriage alive and now she’s watching her ex-husband play “happy families” with another woman. Her two daughters are both furious with their dad. Then there’s Jensen who she may or may not have a relationship with – and her stepdad, along with Gene her dad – a failed Hollywood actor. When they are all forced to live under one roof, Lila thinks she has reached her limit but what if the one person you couldn’t forgive holds the secret to pulling your family together again. “We All Live Here” is also available in Libby.

Other new fiction books include “James” by Percival Everett, “Blood Ties” by Jo Nesbo, “The Big Dry” by Patrick Dearen, “No Ordinary Duchess” by Elizabeth Hoyt, “Fort Buzzard” by William W. Johnstone, “Small Things Like These” by Claire Keegan and the three-book “History of the West with Jemmey Fletcher” series by Cody Assmann.

New nonfiction books include “Three Wild Dogs (and the Truth)” by Markus Zusak, “The JFK Conspiracy: the Secret Plot to Kill Kennedy – and Why It Failed” by Brad Meltzer and “Making Pottery Without a Kiln: Happy Little Projects to Make For Your Home” by Daniela Schmidt-Kohl.

The Lenna Lewis Slagle Children’s Library has these new junior book titles “Stars in Your Eyes” by Susan Love, “Old School” by Gordon Korman and “The Secret of the Lost Gold” by Rebecca Elliott. Among the newer easy books are “Chip Plays Grown-up” by Maddie Frost, “Nothing Scares a Dinosaur” by Jonathan Fenske and “The World Needs the Wonder You See” by Joanna Gaines.

“Chick-A-Boo! is the theme for Storyhour on March 25, 2025. Storyhour is held from 10 to 11 a.m. every Tuesday throughout the year for preschool-aged children. Children enjoy stories, puzzles, crafts, activities & more! Call 307-334-3274 anytime to hear a recorded story! Dial-A-Story is sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
