Doris Day saddles up as wild west heroine “Calamity Jane” in the third film in the Dinner & Movie series on Monday, October 28 at 6 p.m. The film is rated G and 105 minutes. A meal will be also be available. Library programs are free and open to the public.
Beginning Tuesday, November 5 “Afterschool Holiday Crafting” will be held at 3:35 and continuing until 4:45. Children of all ages will have the opportunity to create crafts for fall, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Registration is requested, please call 307-334-3490 to sign your children up. This series continues on Tuesdays through December 10.
BoardGames will be held on Thursdays from 3:35 to 4:45 p.m. beginning on November 7 and continuing through Thursday, December 12. A wide variety of games for all ages are available.
Join historian Kylie Louise McCormick to learn the ins and outs of the U.S. and the Wyoming Constitutions at the library on Wednesday, November 6 at 6 p.m. Hear stories about how they were created and some of the important rights that they protect. Did you know that it took three years to ratify the U.S. Constitution? Or that Wyoming’s Constitution was the first to include an equality clause protecting the civil rights of everyone regardless of race or sex? This program is suitable for both children and adults. Plan to attend.
Lucinda Berry’s latest novel is “If You Tell a Lie.” The four had been friends since day one at camp.
