It was a typical summer evening at the mall in Rockport, Maine in Nora Roberts’ latest novel, “Shelter in Place” with three teenage friends waiting for the movie to start. People were shopping. Owners were waiting on customers. Then, the shooters came. The chaos and carnage lasted eight minutes – but for those who lived through it, the effects would last forever. For one person, who had been laying in wait since that night, it was not enough – and this time there might be nowhere safe to hide. The book is available on CD as well as digitally through Overdrive/Libby and the 3M Cloud Library.
