The film, “Close Encounters of the Third Kind” will be shown at the library on Monday, December 14 at 6 p.m. Plan now to attend this movie that will feature a light meal as well as discussion. This is the final film in the All Around Wyoming series. Watch for a new series to begin in January.
A new fiction thriller is “True Blue” by David Baldacci. Washington lawyer Roy Kingman discovers the body of a female partner and refuses to let the case be swept under the rug. He teams up with disgraced cop Mason “Mace” Perry – but, was that the smart thing to do – especially since they will be going head-to-head against some of the most powerful people in the nation’s capital.
Other new fiction books include “A Christmas Promise” by Anne Perry, “9 Dragons” by Michael Connelly, “Sunflowers” by Sheramy Bundrick, “Merry, Merry Ghost” by Carolyn Hart, “The Gathering Storm” by Robert Jordon and “The Scarpetta Factor” by Patricia Cornwell.
New non-fiction books are “Pretty Little Presents” by Valerie Van Arsdale Schrader, “Have a Little Faith” by Mitch Albom, “Tarot for Life: Reading with the Cards for Every Day Guidance and Growth” by Paul Quinn and “Twelve Stories that Celebrate the True Holiday Spirit” by Mike Huckabee.
New books for the young adults are “Graceling” by Kristin Cashore and “Lord of Misrule” by Rachel Caine.

“The Animals’ Christmas” is the theme for Storyhour on Tuesday, December 15 and Thursday, December 17. Storyhour is held on Tuesday and Thursday throughout the year from from 10 to 11 a.m. for children ages 3 through kindergarten.
