The “Bridge to Terabithia” will be shown on Thursday, June 28 at 1 p.m. at the library. This film is rated PG and is 95 minutes. Popcorn is provided but you need to bring your own beverage. Films are shown each Thursday at 1 p.m. throughout the summer.

Elizabeth Berg’s newest, “Dream When You’re Feeling Blue” is now available. Set in Chicago during the tumultuous years of 1943-46, it is the story about the three Heaney sisters, nicknamed the “Dreamy Girls” and the men they love and how the war affected
them all. Other new titles include “Up in Honey’s Room” by Elmore Leonard, “Landing” by Emma Donoghue, “A Promise for Ellie” by Lauraine Snelling, “Never Too Late” by Michael Phillips and “Dark Seduction” by Brenda Joyce.
New non-fiction includes “A Good Dog: the Story of Orson, Who Changed my Life” by Jon Katz, “How to Decorate with Wallpaper: a Practical Inspirational Guide to Using Wallpaper in the Home With Step-by-Step Projects” by Bernadette Fallon and “The Personality Code: Unlock the Secret to Understanding Your Boss, Your Colleagues, Your Friends?and Yourself” by Travis Bradberry.
New titles for our young adults are “The Fat Girl” by Marilyn Sachs and “Boy Shopping” by Nia Stephens.
New books in the Lennea Lewis Slagle Children’s Library include these Stepping Stone books featuring Disney Fairies, “Rani in the Mermaid Lagoon” by Lisa Papademetriou, “Fira and the Full Moon” by Gail Herman and “A Masterpiece for Bess” by Lara Bergen. New picture books are “G is for Galaxy: an Out of This World Alphabet” by Janis Campbell, “The Perfect Pony” by Kimberley Brubaker Bradley and “Tummy Girl” by Roseanne Thong.
“Moose Mania” is the theme for Storyhour on Tuesday, July 3, 2007 and Thursday, July 5, 2007. Storyhour is now held every Tuesday and Thursday from 10 to 11 p.m. for children ages 3 through kindergarten.
