Registration is still being held for the fall book discussion series, “Writing Wyoming.” The series includes books that depict different aspects of what it means to live in Wyoming. Each writer also explores both the myth and the reality of the people and place. Books are here at the library so be sure to stop by and register. If enough participants are interested, we will follow up this four book series with an informal series that features Wyoming fiction and mystery writers.
New newspaper subscriptions at the library include USA Today, Wyoming Tribune-Eagle, Rapid City Journal, Scottsbluff Star-Herald, Laramie Boomerang, Douglas Budget and the Crawford Clipper/Harrison Sun. The 2006 Legislative Library Funding Amendment is allowing us to offer some things we’ve not been able to do for many years. Several new magazine subscriptions will also begin soon. Be sure to stop in and take a look.
New books include “Blue Screen” by Robert B. Parker, “The Wrong Hostage” by Elizabeth Lowell, “Eye Contact” by Cammie McGovern, “The Saboteurs” by W. E. B.
