Summer plans are revving up at the library. The Friends of the Library Annual Ice Cream Social and Book Sale will be held on Saturday, June 24. A couple of fundraisers for the Foundation’s Endowment Fund are planned for July, a Rummage Sale & No-Limit Texas Hold-Em tournament. For the children, Summer Reading is slated to begin Wednesday, June 7th and will continue through mid-July. We have a Magician scheduled for July 22 at 10:30 a.m. and Storyhour continues throughout the summer as does Movie Night. Now that the library has a public performance license for a variety of films we may show films during the day in the summer if there is enough interest, please let us know if you are interested.
If you didn’t get a survey in the mail, please call or stop by the library – your input is very important as the board plans for the future of library service.
