Leila Meacham’s latest novel is “Dragonfly.” In 1942 a handful of idealistic young Americans received a mysterious letter from the office of Strategic Services asking if they were willing to fight for their country. This unusual group of men and women hailed from very different backgrounds. They bonded into a group codenamed Dragonfly. Thus begins a dramatic cat–and-mouse game as these spies seek to stay under the radar.
