We all say it, we all feel it – time goes too fast! The library now has an option to help keep up with checked out items, ahead of the due date… receive email and/or text messages one day before the item(s) due date! Call the library to set up this free service for you and your family! If you already have an email on record you will automatically receive the early notice, but if you, like many of us, don’t check email often a text message may be the way to go. Give us a call at 307-334-3490!

Paint @ the Library will be held on Monday, August 5 at 1 p.m. Artist, Barb Orr has a fun project planned – call to register at 334-3490!

Xzeries Avilez will be featured during the month of August with “Pop Art & Poetry.” Plan to stop by and visit with Xzeries at a reception on Wednesday, August 7 at 5 p.m.

Mark your calendar for an exciting program –the “Duelling Dames” on Monday, August 12 at 2 p.m. The Dames teach history with hilarity, astound with sword-fighting skills, and are daring enough to bring audience members onstage - a delightful tale that excites families about history while teaching anti-violence strategies.

Lucinda Riley’s newest novel is “The Royal Secret.” When Sir James Harrison, one of the greatest actors of this generation, passes away at the age of 95 he leaves behind not just a heartbroken family but also a letter with a secret so shocking it could rock the English establishment to the core. As reporter Joanna Haslam peels back the veil of lies that has shrouded the secret someone is on her tracks attempting to prevent her from discovering the truth. They will stop at nothing to reach the letter before her. “The Royal Secret” is also available in Overdrive/Libby.
