Lisa Scottoline’s latest novel is “Someone Knows.” When Allie Garvey headed home to the funeral of a childhood friend she was full of dread; going home means seeing two people with whom she shares an unbearable secret. Twenty years ago a horrific incident shattered the lives of five teenagers. They played a dangerous prank that ended tragically. They never told anyone, but Allie discovered that not getting caught was worse. Now she’s determined to learn what went wrong, but in her search for the truth she reaches a shocking conclusion – one she never saw coming.
