Cathy Hazel Adams returns to the library on Wednesday, February 21 at 5:30 p.m. Adams will share additional information about how thoughts, feelings, and agendas form the blueprint from which individual and mass experiences are created and how quantum physics shows that consciousness really is the X-factor. Easy meditation techniques as well as time for questions will be part of the evening. If you were unable to attend the January program, plan to attend! Library programs are free and open to the public.

“Now That You Mention It” is a new novel by Kristan Higgins. One step forward was the scholarship that put Nora Stuart on the path to becoming a medical specialist. Two steps back was getting hit by a car and then hearing her boyfriend hit on a doctor when she thought she was dying. There’s only one place to land – home – but the tiny Maine community she left 15 years ago still holds her responsible for small town drama and big time disappointments. This book is also available as an eBook in the 3M Cloud Library, your library card number and PIN give you access!

Other new fiction books are “The Witches’ Tree” by M.C. Beaton, “The Demon Crown” by James Rollins, “Cowboy’s Legacy” by B.J. Daniels, “Puppet Master” by Dale Brown, “Killman Creek” by Rachel Caine, “Moon Hunt” by W. Michael Gear, “Out of the Ashes” by Tracie Peterson, “Blood Truth” by Matt Coyle, “Unbridled Murder” by Leigh Hearon. New titles in the YA section are “Someone to Love” by Melissa de la Cruz and “No Saints in Kansas” by Amy Brashear.

New non-fiction titles are “To My Trans Sisters” by Charlie Craggs, “Mousy Cats and Sheepish Coyotes: the Science of Animal Personalities” by John A. Shivik and “Container Gardening Complete: Creative Projects for Growing Vegetables and Flowers in Small Spaces” by Jessica Walliser.

The Lennea Lewis Slagle Children's Library has these new junior books: “The Getaway” by Jeff Kinney, “Middle School Mayhem” by Rachel Renee Russell and “George and the Unbreakable Code” by Lucy Hawking. A few of the newer easy titles are “Snappsy the Alligator and His Best Friend Forever, (Probably)” by Julie Falatko, “Little Red Riding Sheep” by Linda Ravin Lodding and “Curious George Makes a Valentine” by H.A. Rey
