“Meditation for Stress Relief and Health” will be the topic for two programs with author and speaker Marsha Warren Mittman next week. Wednesday evening, September 20 at 6:30 p.m. Mittman will talk about the body’s inherent energy system and flow, explaining how and why natural healing modalities work. Examples of these modalities will be discussed and as well as a healing meditation followed by time for questions. Anyone who is planning on attending the next session, Thursday, September 21 at noon may submit associated items they’d like addressed. Thursday a brief energy system recap (for those who were unable to attend the evening program), followed by four different, simple, non-denominational approaches to meditation is currently planned. Mittman, a South Dakota Humanities Scholar, has presented meditation, natural healing, human potential and female empowerment programs throughout the United States.
