Have you noticed the new look for the OneClick Digital app? This past week the app was updated and library patrons can now access digital audiobooks, magazines (previously through the Zinio app) and classic eBooks in one easy-to-use app. If you’ve previously used Zinio to read the 100’s of free digital magazines available you’ll like this new upgrade. Update your OneClick Digital app and it should be a seamless transition. Be sure to stop by the library for help or more information about our free digital libraries.

“The Great Courses” are a popular educational source and are now available in Hoopla. Over one hundred titles are available with everything from “Music and the Brain” to “Landscape & Wildlife Photography” to “Emergency Medicine” to “How to Program: Computer Science Concepts and Python Exercises” and “Living History.” Your library card number and PIN will get you started, create an account and you’re off. Hoopla content can be downloaded to tablets and other devices and streamed through your computer. You can also cast to your television by using Chromecast.

Paula Hawkins, who wrote “The Girl on the Train” which was also made into a movie, has a new book “Into the Water.” A vulnerable teenage girl and a single mother turn up dead in the river that runs through Bedford. They are not the first women lost to these dark waters but their deaths disturb the river and its history, dredging up secrets long submerged---especially for one family. “Into the Water” is also available on CD, through the Virtual Library, the 3M Cloud Library and OneClick Digital.

Other new fiction books are “Against All Odds” by Danielle Steel, “16th Seduction” by James Patterson, “The Thirst” by Jo Nesbo, “A Dog’s Way Home” by W. Bruce Cameron, “Threads of Suspicion” by Dee Henderson, “Robert B. Parker’s Little White Lies” by Ace Atkins, “The Girl Who Knew Too Much” by Amanda Quick, “Exit Strategy” by Steve Hamilton and “Secrets in the Summer” by Nancy Thayer.
