Over 140 magazine subscriptions are now available digitally through Zinio for Wyoming library card holders. Some titles include American Artist, Cowboys and Indians, Family Circle, iPad for Parents, Harvard Business Review, Ski Magazine and Yoga Journal. These titles are available for simultaneous use by multiple users for a variety of devices and computers, check it on our homepage.

Michael Connelly’s newest book is “The Black Box.” Nearing the 20th anniversary of the L.A. Riots, the open-unsolved unit is tasked with cleaning out cases from that era. In a case that he has not been able to forget, Bosch finds something new: the gun that killed Anneke Jesperson was also used in other crimes years later. He begins his hunt anew. Will he find the “black box” - the one piece of evidence that pulls the case together and makes justice possible at last? “The Black Box” is also available on CD.

Other new fiction books are “Merry Christmas, Alex Cross” by James Patterson, “A Truth for a Truth” by Emilie Richards, “Nano” by Robin Cook, “A Desirable Residence” by Madeleine Wickham, “The Forgotten” by David Baldacci, “Notorious Nineteen” by Janet Evanovich, “Back to Blood” by Tom Wolfe, “Fox Tracks” by Rita Mae Brown and “Jack Reacher’s Rules” by Lee Child. A new Halo book, “Cryptum” by Greg Bear is now available in the YA section as well as Amanda Hocking’s newest, “Lullaby.”

New non-fiction includes: “The Law of Divine Compensation” by Marianne Williamson, “Rod: the Autobiography” by Rod Stewart and “The Diabetes Friendly Kitchen: 125 Recipes For Creating Healthy Meals” by Jennifer Stack.

The Lennea Lewis Slagle Children's Library has these new chapter books ready to check-out: “Life With Lily” by Mary Ann Kinsinger, “Diary Of a Wimpy Kid: Third Wheel” by Jeff Kinney and “Secrets of Shakespeare’s Grave” by Devon R. Hicks. Some new picture books include “There Was an Old Woman Who Swallowed a Rose” by Lucille Colandro, “James to the Rescue” by Tina Gallo and “The Quiet Place” by Sarah Stewart.
