Lusk Relatives Attend Funeral in Crawford
Mrs. Anna Lingwood, grandmother of Ralph Lingwood and Mrs. Oscar Bostrom of Lusk, died at Crawford, Nebr., Monday, Jan. 15, 1951. She was nearly 88 years of age and had been in failing health for some time.
Anna Storvak, daughter of Stinar and Anna Storvak, was born at Vaage, Norway, on March 3, 1863, where she grew to womanhood. On April 25, 1888, she was united in marriage to Thurston Lingwood of Lom, Norway. To this union three children were born; one son Lewis, preceding her in death in 1918. Her husband passed away on April 2, 1942.
In the year 1895, she and her three small children joined her husband in this country, settling at Blair, Nebr., later moving to Central City, Nebr. In the fall of 1909, the family located on a homestead near Andrews, Nebr., where they resided until the spring of 1920, when they moved to a farm west of Crawford. For the last four years, Mrs. Lingwood has made her home with her son, Iver, in Hay Springs.
Funeral services were held in Crawford on Wednesday afternoon, January 17 and burial was made in the cemetery in that city.
